Burn makes things darker and dodge makes them lighter. It's awesome for getting rid of shadows or adding depth to a picture without changing the overall contrast of the picture. I make millions of layers when I edit a picture because it makes life so much easier when you mess up! This is Cassie Strausbaugh by the way...I don't know how to sign into this thing. Lol. Shoot me a message on facebook if you need anything else. When I use clone tool I always create multiple layers, use the tool with the fuzzy edges, and use the opacity feature on the side layer bar to touch up what is out of place. I also think it is important to grab from lots of different places if you have the option and to add shadows and lightness back into areas using the dodge and burn tool so that it looks more realistic. The biggest thing is to ALWAYS pick up from an area every single time you lay the clone down to prevent it from warping!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158792805749108745.post-15117177185581533322010-07-27T21:55:42.813-06:002010-07-27T21:55:42.813-06:00I think it is a great edit. I don't have the patience, and it takes a LOT of that, doesn't it? I didn't notice it was even cloned until you mentioned the trucks. Maybe your eye was drawn to it because you knew the trucks were there. I don't think I would have noticed. What a fun edit - it's great! Thanks for playing! Happy Tuesday! :-)Karli @ The Bonnie 5https://www.blogger.com/profile/14537685655788113712noreply@blogger.com
