This week I have avoided my computer. I have just not been in the mood or really I should say I feel guilty to sit down on the computer and pour my heart out to the blogging world when I use (some of okay a lot of ) my free time on here and not using it on poor little Wyatt.
I also feel guilty because my camera has sat on the table for a whole week with out me touching it and each time I see it I think to myself… UGH if I take pictures I will want to edit them and when I edit them I will want to post them and to post them I will need to get on my dang computer! UGH!!!!
so I look the other way.
but the thing about the world now days is that you find your self having a cell phone that has these things called “apps” and these so called “camera apps” some how managed to find its way on to my phone.
Which made me feel a little less guilty then using my own camera because what's great about these “apps” is that they do all of the editing for you.(okay most of the editing I still had to do a few touch ups here and there but still how great is that?!)
And with this week being a week that I made myself use my extra time on Wyatt I have discovered that he no longer wants or needs my 100% attention like I thought he did. because he seemed to avoid me.
he would play quietly with his toys
or want to be alone in his sandbox and rarely wanted me to “sit” as he would say next to him.
when did this happen?
When did he become a little boy who filled his days with imagination and day dreams with out needing to have my complete attention for the entire day? doesn’t he look like a little man now?
So by the end of the week I made my self pull my camera off the table to a least snapped a few photos for the you capture challenge. Our everyday things is pretty much this Wyatt playing in the sandbox and with his toys hours on end and me taking a ton of pictures of his cute little feet… plus I love to take random pictures of my moms back yard. (just wait tell I have one of my own just imagine the pictures then!)
So I only took a few pictures with my regular camera because lately my cell phone pictures seemed to have been coming out a whole lot better.
HEY! lets play a game!! wanna? it will be Fuuuuuunnn…
okay so out of all of these photos which ones do you think are NOT taken from my cell phone?
Good luck!

I get so jealous of people that have awesome camera photos. That first shot of the clouds is incredible.
ReplyDeleteI like the photo reel photo. How'd you do that?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it is a little hard to realize that Wy is fine on his own now, but at least now you know you are fine using some of your free time for you. I'm going to guess the pics of why playing with the toys and in the sandbox were with your camera not you phone. The pic of the clouds is beautiful by the way, makes me miss home.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the sky shot! Looks like a painting... GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteHe is just so absolutely adorable. What a sweet little boy : ) I am glad you get to be his Mama! You did such a fantastic job of capturing his every day life. I LOVE that : )
ReplyDeleteAww...cute pictures...:)
ReplyDeleteHis shoes are so cute! And yes, he certainly looks like a little man now. :)
ReplyDeleteI think the close-up of the shoes was NOT taken with your phone. I've never gotten that good of a close-up with mine anyway..
That is a great edit with the film strip please do share!
ReplyDeleteElaine your right! that is actually the ONLY photo that I took with my camera! crazy huh. everything else was taken with my cell phone. so it does the film strip edit automatically. I have the HTC EVO from sprint and to get the film strip app its called "retro camera" its awesome! it allows you to take pictures off of all these old vintage cameras. the other photos were used with the Fxcamera app. which does a WHOLE bunch of edits! its one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteAudrey, these are FANTASTIC! I loved them all...especially the series of 4, the feet and the wheelbarrow. Great compostion, and the processing is perfect!
ReplyDeleteYou totally cracked me up with your comment. If you got a sneek peek into my recycle bin, you'd feel much better - LOL! :-)
Those are so cute! The film strip app is super cool :D
ReplyDeleteVisting from The Girl Creative's New Friend Friday! I love your pictures & all of the effects!! Did you do all of those with your phone editing? Honosly, the only one that looks like a 'phone picture' would be the sky one. Other than that, the editing makes it pretty hard to distinguish. Your son is adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove these photos!!! Great editing!
