Thursday was my 25th birthday and to celebrate Wyatt and I took a train ride to
Salt Lake City, Utah
I think it did because I didn't take his stroller so he was able to actually sit in the sit and look out the window to see the beautiful scenic views.
We saw farms, Orchards, and of course other trains passing us by.
But my favorite thing was to watch Wyatt react to all the different things he saw...
At one point it got so intense that he sat like this for I swear 10 minutes straight.
He was glued to that window and really so was I.
As we stepped off the train we found the closest place to eat because I was starving!
We had delicious food and I even made the waiters sing Happy Birthday to me and I even got my free dessert which of course Wyatt ate.
After lunch we went to the discovery gateway children's museum and spent a good amount of time playing with each thing.
It was a blast (besides having 2 huge potty accidents and the few whining fits but hey it was worth it for a smile like that. right?)
We headed home after a long trip which exhausted both of us. Wyatt played with my phone while I tried hard not to fall asleep to the rocking of the train.
And as I drove home that night I looked back at Wyatt and thought how wonderful it was to have such an amazing son who woke me up early that morning to sing me happy birthday, who remembered that mommy got a pretty hair cut and told me how pretty it was as he petting my head, a little boy who all day said mommy happy birthday and gave me a ton of hugs/kiss and said a billion I love yous. Even though this day was spent doing activities a two year old loves he sure made me feel special and I couldn't ask for more then that.
I just cant wait for next year because my birthday will be on 11/11/11! I am throwing a HUUUUGE PARTY that day! ;)
