Like every year before this one my family gathers at my parents house. As you arrive you see my mother and little sister Breanne dressed in aprons running around stirring this and cutting that and not soon later the house will fill with loud voices and small laughter of the children running and playing while the adults sit and talk.

and before we can eat my mother makes sure that the colors of fall surround the table... the forks and the knifes are aliened perfectly... the food is spread out across the buffet table so when the time comes we need to not worry about a thing.

When it comes to the turkey the last couple of years it has been prepared by my little sister and she takes pride in how moist and delicious it is... she even makes sure that no one touches it before she knows that it is in fact ready to be eaten.

  1. I know of all the things I could comment on, this one is totally random - but my mom has that same stemmed cut glassware. It made me so homesick to see them in your pictures. :) She had them for as long as I can remember.
