Our Tree

The last couple of weeks I have been a little absent on here and that is because December is kicking my butt. My little Photography business is in full swing and I am booked completely this month so I have been editing and shooting my little heart out. plus I still have my jobs and I cant forget the holiday parties we have... we celebrate all month long. so bear with me as I am slow to catch up on all the activities we do.
On Dec 1st Wyatt and I put up our tree. This year was so much more fun then before because Wyatt was so excited to help add all the ordainments. I did not put one on the tree this year. not one.

As we were decorating I couldn't help but think how it was when I was little and my mom would pull out all the ordainments and we would place them on our tree and how each year we gathered more and more... some had meaning others were funny and some we question why we would put them up. I cant wait until my tree will be cluttered with memories.

Before and after

for this photo I wanted to keep the moment of it and not change a lot. I removed the shoes on the left hand side then crop it a little to bring the photo closer added a warm tone fixed the levels and then sharpened it... cleaned the noise and was done.

  1. Oh my gosh! These pictures are GORGEOUS! I love them so much. I think the picture of Wyatt looking up at the tree in all of its glory is my most favorite thing EVER! Seriously. I ADORE it.

Congratulations on starting a small business and doing so well! Awesome that you are thriving during December which is probably the most busy month of the whole year, right? Wishing you all the best as you pursue your dreams! With love, Becky
