Its simple

to make a blog header.

First I picked the photos that I wanted to be on my new header.
Then I edited them.
The first edit of the photo on the left consisted of adjust the levels, adding warmth enhancing the sun flare in the right corner and adding a texture. The right photo I used the "smart brush" tool went into the photographic drop down box located at the top then picked Tin type and placed it on the entire photo. Sharpened it and was done.

Then I wanted to add stars so I used the brush tool and placed them all over for a rockin' feel. Added the text made a gray boarder around them and was done editing the photos.

I then went to file, new, blank file and changed the pixels to 981x400 just because I found that to be the size I needed for my blog which was trial and error for me awhile back.

I then went to file "place" and picked the photos and put them where I wanted them to be on the header. I then used the marquee tool and selected the blank area I had on the left and made a box and filled it in with color then I added stars with the brush tool then added text.

Then the last thing I did was upload it to my blog.
I do all my editing and header making in PSE8.
