Before and After

beforeafter
For this photo I felt that the actual flower's color was too bright so I wanted to soften it. I first clean the photo up by adjust contrast levels etc. Then I added a light pink texture to it. I then wanted to add some warmth so I added in some sun flares and bokeh textures and used the warm action from PW then I used the coffee shop's sweet bakery glazes action to soft the colors and blend it together. I then sharpened it, reduced any noise, added my water mark and was done.
What do you think?

*by the way... the first linky for TEXTURE THURSDAY I am hosting is up! I hope to see you all there. ;)

  3. I agree, they are both lovely. The first bright and crisp, the edit soft and dreamy.

  5. Having old eyes, I am drawn to the brighter image. But I am fascinated about how you played with it to soften it.

  8. So pretty, Audrey!! I love the softness, and the tones you ended up with in your 'after' image! The sooc is amazing as well! This is my first time in the Before and After challenge, and the first time visiting your site! I'm enjoying all of the entries! I would love to check out your Texture Thursday's, too! I really enjoyed reading your 'about me' page. Sounds like you're in a good place, and blessed!! I went through some difficult times, myself, but now, our family is growing stronger every day! Don't ever stop believing!! Take care, and have a great weekend!
