I don't want to go to work today.

Its 3:56 in the morning everyone is asleep the house is quite besides my music quietly playing in the background and I keep thinking to myself how I just don't want to go to work tomorrow today.

I want to wake up right now and head off on some type of spontaneous adventure. See things we have never seen before. Go places that we would have never gone.

I want the music to be on full blast as we drive with the windows down letting in all that wonderful spring breeze.

No worries
No thoughts
Just us in the moment.
Just us...

Yesterday that sorta happened...
I scooped up Wyatt after we took our nap, cleaned the house and ran our errands and we went to the parkway.

People crowded the walkway as they rode their bikes, ran and took their dogs on walks.

I took nothing but my camera and Wyatt. Which led me to find some bursts of beauty that nature had hidden away.

The best part was when we found a safe riverbank to play by.

I sat along the river peacefully watching him while he smiled, laughed, giggled, talked threw rocks in the river and I enjoyed him.
I ENJOYED HIM.

  22. These are awesome Audrey! We picked some pine cones on the weekend. The kids smothered them in peanut butter, dipped them in bird seed and two hours after we hung on them on the tree we had a snowstorm. :(
