Once I was an Indian…

A few months ago I had so MUCH time to play “pretend” with Wyatt…We would spend all day imagining what it would be like to  be an Indian.

We would make up silly Indian names for each other like Bunny butt or Lion roar, we’d sing songs, dance around Pretend fires and even go on hunting trips if we wanted too.

We would longue around the house wearing nothing but feathers in our hair and paint on our faces…

OH…

indianwyatt2 I miss those carefree days…

Now my days consist of waking up early going to one job then the next, answering work emails, dealing with employees who just don't seem to get it, counting money over and over until my head explodes, all the while my house is a MESS the dishes are piled high in the sink, laundry that is never getting done, the computer desk is stacked high with bills that I just don't want to look at let alone pay…

I JUST want my time back!!!

The time where playing “pretend” was more important then answering those stupid work emails and where there was so much time to clean, cook or do whatever I felt like. even though I never took advantage of that.

Oh I miss that sense of freedom…

Cant I just become an instant billionaire? Or at least something with no strings attached, no working involved, where I could spend all day being an Indian if I wanted too with out ever worrying about anything else but that time Wyatt and I would share.

Sigh

only IF that was possible now.

How do you mange your time?

Are you a SAHM? (stay at home mom) or do you have to go to work like I do?

  2. Those are great pictures. I must confess that I hate playing. I mean I.Hate.Playing. Even when I was a kid I didn't like it. I'm a book reading, movie-watching, nature-walking kind of gal. But I definitely sympathize with wishing you'd appreciated what you had when you had it...that's me all the time.

  5. Sorry my friend. I can hear your pain in this post. I work outside the home full time. But here's what I try to remember...it's HOW I spend the time with my boys, not WHEN or how many hours I spend with them. I love them up every chance I get!

  6. yes the HOW is way important and I know I need to remember that... I just need to get past the fact that my time is now taken up in more places then the home and I know that I must deal with that I just don't want too. I want to be able to go back to simpler times. doesn't everybody?
