A Sweet shot with a little Touch up Tuesday to boot ;)

 

I love this photo but it didn’t show how beautiful and bright blue the sky was that day and Breanne seemed very dark so I wanted to brighten it up and bring out all of the small details of the sky and of her.

 

Here's how I did it…

I edited the sky a few times. First I highlighted just the sky and added a details edit then I put it on a high contrast then added a bright sky edit then soften it with a light blue tent adjusted the colors to even everything off in the full edit mode.

Then for my sister Breanne I adjusted the color of her skin in the guided mode then I adjust the levels and tweak it little by little until I liked how it looked .

I then went in to the full mode and added a detail edit, lighten the skin tone, brighten her teeth and her shirt a few times then added a high contrast just on her sunglasses to bring out the shine, soften the color of her lips and added a small browning around the edges of the photo then to finish I sharpened the whole photo until I liked. 

It took me a little while to get it to look like this but I think it turned out great.
I use PSE8 and I am way new to this program so if you have any tips I would love to hear them!
