With this photo I wanted to make it look like I painted it. I first cleaned it up then went to the adjust levels in PSE8 and messed around with the colors until I got the deep color I like. I then added the PW boost action (which seems to be my fav lately.) to give it a little more color. I then went into my textures and added a few that sharpened but yet still soften the texture of the leafs if that makes since. hmm... I then focused just on the path and added just a little more brown to it. I then cleaned up the color noise and was done.
