June came and went. It was filled with a ton of adventures a lot of swimming and couple of sunburns but what I enjoyed the most was become great friends with Sherri and her son Brooklyn. Yes, we were friends before and yes Wyatt and Brooklyn hung out before but some how this June just made our friendship better and I am grateful for that.
So as June came to an end we pilled the boys in my car and headed off to the park.
We explored the trails found sticks and got eaten ALIVE by mosquitoes regardless of the bug spray smother on us and the kids while Sherri and I got lost in conversation and picture taking…
and the boys ran around the baseball field chasing each other with sticks.
The sun started to set the air become breezy as the excitement built for the time we could light the sparklers. I thought Wyatt would be scared and not want to hold them but he surprised me…
He held them so long that it burned his hand and when it did that he accidently dropped it on my arm…
We left that night we our arms and neck covered in mosquitoes bites and second degree burns on Wyatt’s hand and my arm.
Ha-ha! I guess you can say it was a heck of a night. Cant wait to see what July has in store for us.
